I have a 1/2 pickup load of cut off 2x4's and 2x6's loaded in the truck for a campfire.

We are counting the hours.

Will have the trailer loaded tonight and ready to rock and roll Friday right after work .

My goal is to be on the road by 1-ish tomorrow so we can be there in time for the meet and greet. I plan on doing some precooking and am making cucumber sammiches to being tmrw night. At least those are the plans....

Well, another gathering is over. A good time was had by all and a it was nice to welcome Brian and Audrey . Thanks Lester for showing the movies. That was fun. Hope to see a good group turnout for our final gathering of the year at Lowden State park in October.

Nancy and I had a great time visiting with everyone. The barn is home in his big new storage building with about 1200 pounds of camping gear stuffed inside. Whe we got home we loaded everything in every room in the house and emptied the caboose and took it ALL of the camping goodies to storage.

I found my resparator mask and will keep it at hand for the Illinois vault toilets PPHHHEEWWW!

and a skate board to truck the 1/4 mile to the water hydrant but it was still a great time.
