Who has their food plans in order for the pot luck? We are thinking German potato salad and some deserts.

I love a good Pot Luck Dinner. We have some really good cooks in our group

Bob and I will also be bringing a dessert. It's a new recipe but sounds wonderful. I won't say what it is just in case it's a flop. That way you won't know who brought it

And remember she won the CRA dutch oven cook off !

So I will trust it.

P.S. The "apple pie" will be ready to go when we arrive mid afternoon Friday ! If it's cold we will serve part of it warm it's OOOHHH SOOO Good that way!

Everclear , honey burbon whiskey, and vanilla vodka are all sure fire winners but we can experiment with others !

It is with a heavy heart that I must anounce that I will not make the gathering. I have been called to replace an outgoing camera operator on a horror film shoot in New Orleans. On the bright side my little camper will be coming with me to serve as a daily trailer/dressing room... so now I will be able to brag that someone famous pooped in my bathroom... OK maybe I will keep that to myself.

End of another year of camping.....

40 total nights since we got serenity. I'm just a bit saddened that I was a little under the weather and put myself in quarantine, so I couldn't get to any if the events...

I want to thanks everyone for another great year with the Hoosier Chapter of Tearjerkers. We've seen some high spots and some low spots this year but together we can get through anything.

I'm really looking forward to 2014 (for many reasons.) Hope to see all of you again in the spring.

With the weather getting a bit brisk It sets us to thinking about hot apple pie (the drink) and a great big dutch oven full of steaming hot stew that will warm the hands and the belly at the same time, Curious deer peaking into trailer windows to see what these crazy people are doing, The crunch of snow under your boots, And the warmth and security of our tiny trailers.
