Bob, did the story run? Can you get a copy of the story electronically? I'd love to see what they said about us....

I know the story ran because I heard a lady talking about the story while I was stopped at a light in Rockville.

Another successful gathering. Thanks Kurt and Dan. It was great seeing everyone. See you in the fall; we'll be camping with the big mouse in Fla. during the July gathering.

I am gonna try and get a few copies of the paper. I hope the actual artical had more pictures I know Bob took thirty or more. They probably hit the cutting room floor.

Since grandpa Rob was the star here are a few of his helpers getting ready for a bon fire

It was a nice article but I wish they had included more pics. I know you all had a great time and are now looking forward to the summer gathering.

That one roll wouldn't do rolling stone II

How many feet are on that bolt ?

I should be able to do Chubby with one of the two rolls I still have. So there is one more if you want to pick it up.

Per Rose (who I talked with at church Sunday afternoon, Grover (the one with the '67 Dodge Coronet wagon & the early 50's Scotty trailer) was hit in Avon, it separated the camper from the car and the camper ended up upside down on an embankment (Rose had a few pics), and the rear of the car was damaged. The person who hit them was insured, but how do you repair/replace vintage cars/trailers?!? No one was hurt, thank goodness!

Toni, thanks for letting us know. That's a real tragedy. The car and the trailer can be fixed, although they will not be as original as they once were. I'm sure that everyone is glad to hear that no one was hurt.

I always have that fear when traveling especially with the camper in tow.

Bob, thanks for getting the newspaper reporter to come out to Turkey Run. Good article. As usual, you did a great job and will be able to keep your job as "P.R. Director" for ever if you want..

Bob, it is really fun to be associated with this group of Hoosier Tearjerkers as well as the many who traveled to the gathering from other Chapters.

Thanks again.

Talked to Jill today. First off they are ok! Both parties had insurance, but they are devastated about the car and camper! Both almost impossible to replace. The car had 70k miles, and in original untouched condition. It is repairable, but we are going to evaluate the camper to see if an estimate can be done for repairs!
