Hoosier Chapter Spring 2014 Gathering

Well, Dan and I took a road trip today to look at a campgrounds for our Spring 2014 gathering.

It looks like Turkey Run State Park was the winner.

Sites in (Northern section) the area of #22 to #104 would be a good area for the Spring outing. Any sites in this general area are fine also.

A final date will be coming shortly however the preliminary dates are May 15,16,17, 2014.

Reservations can be made (6) months in advance through the "Reserve America" web site.

Cool! I was hoping we would gather there again one of these days! Chelsey and I have fond memories of our first gathering there. This time she can drive the go karts instead of being a passenger.

I want site 34 ! This was the area of the 1/2012 shivaree and I went down several weeks before the gathering and the deer were standing watching me as I investigated this little area.

Looking forward to spring camping already

I went down on the motorcycle for a visit during the fall 08 gathering and that is when I first met Dan , Rob and Scott.

Man there has been a lot of water under the bridge in the five years since

Scott, there is a nice big playground at the north end of the loop. (see site #60)

I've still got the Horse Shoes so we can play in May.
Anyone have a "Corn Hole" game set, please bring it along.

Saturday: "Pitch-In Dinner" at 6:00pm
Saturday Night Movie: TBD (at 9:00pm or darkness)

Hey you are right!

I didn't quite have Chubby ready enough to join in and I wanted too so bad. So we just made a visit out of it. I was later able to finish the trailer for the Jan. 08 shivaree.

This picture was taken the week of the gathering look close you will see the lexan roof is still flying out in front and some wires are dangling from underneath.
