Chain O Lakes for me is deadly. Because of its geography it forms an inversion layer and since every one seems to require a smoldering fire the smog is deadly for those of us with asthma. I have camped there twice and both times had a horrible time.
We plan on coming again and look forward to seeing friends and making new ones.

I have once again been asked to do the Dutch oven seminar for the upcoming CRA gathering.

I am going to post this plea in several spots including the cast iron section here and on Tearjerkers.

I want input on what the group would like to see covered. I do not want it to be a direct repeat of the past seminars. I am sure there are basics we will revisit but I would like to cover some fresh topics as well. Would you all help and suggest topics that you would like to see covered. I have made every attempt to keep the seminar focused on " how and why" and will continue to try hard to avoid making it into a cooking show.

Tag on your thoughts, ideas, questions, and comments so we can have a fresh and valuable hour or so together.

Thanks for the help Bob

Billy,

No need for that, just leave the dishes out, and the coons will clean every thing up! ;)

Yes, 3 of them were certainly almost at my side last year to "help"! They don't like being yelled at by some crazy lady washing dishes

Sent in my registration and check. I am looking forward to being able to stay longer this time. Last CRA, I was only able to be there for one night because of work. Now I am retired and will be able to be there for the entire time!! :D
So, Bob, getting a campsite will be a lot like getting tickets for a Jimmy Buffett concert? I should stay up until midnight and start trying to get onto the website? Maybe fire up three computers and ...... I think that could be getting a little carried away.....
Well, looking forward to seeing everyone from all over the country...Last one, I got to meet people from California and New York.
Also looking forward to seeing Verna's new T.V.
Marty

I would love to register and send in my money. I really beliece our CT , in lieu of a TD , would be accepted.
But two things hold me back. I am not sure my CT will be really ready (athough it should, given the time I have had to work on it) and I wish i knew if my back will be ok by then ( it better be). I would love to meet the many great folks from this forum.

Of course your CT will be welcome. Remember that to be a Tearjerker just requires attending a gathering. I hope your back will be healed. It's fun!

Great.

When do you think it might be too late to reserve a spot?

They go fast. Be ready 6 months before to reserve online at noon (I think) on Reserve America. We can only reserve sites exactly 6 months before or less at Indiana State Parks.

Help!
Is the $25 per person or per site.
I am preparing my form for $50 (2 persons) but will wait til I understand the correct amount.

PS. Either way, I think it sounds like a real bargin for all the features, events and whether else happens.
