Just sent our registration form and paid via Paypal. I am very excited. All the comments about the campgrounds filling up fast have me a little nervous though. Any thoughts on a good spot for newbies? We'll be towing our little Happy Camper TTT.

Lots 1 thru 9 have elevation issues. 1-6 are very up hill and 7-8 or 8-9 become a swimming pool if it rains. All the others are great. Most are well separated with low hedge and small trees so you don't feel you are in a parking lot elbow to elbow with your neighbors. This is a beautiful old park! McCormick's Creek State Park was dedicated as Indiana's first state park on July 4, 1916, as part of the state's centennial celebration. Old growth monster trees offer great summer shade and the blacktop service roads are baby butt smooth for biking and skating. I will see ya there ! 8)

Rob, sorry for the slow answer. Yes the PayPal option always is available.

My PayPal address is [email protected]

The "PayPal" option is on the registration form below the "mail-in" address.

It has been added to the web site also.

I would love to send my reservation money in, but the way things are going here at home (typical life issues) I cannot predict what conflicts may come up in July. Especially when you have have grandkids who love to come visit in July. Also I would hate to be the newbie who signs up, reserves a space and take the opportunity away from regular attendees. I guess I need to finish the trailer and then get serious about things like this, starting off small and hopefully meeting members of the forum. "Baby steps" seems to come to mind.

OMG you didn't get the memo ???

They are never "FINISHED" :rofl2:

Just reserve anyway ! It sets a goal for you and believe me should you need to cancel there will be someone who will gladly return your investment to you to get a site.

It's a wild site seeing 150 +/- tiny trailers in one park and 400 or 500 local folks driving in and out of the park to get a peek at the weird little tiny trailers.

I won't even mention the food :o

As you book sites for CRA 2015, please post on the forums so we can develop a MAP showing where people are camping.

Thanks,

And speaking of a map...we were asked several times at the last 2 events if we could post a map, at this years event, showing where everyone is from from, and their campsite. Yes we will! So....I will start the list, checking here and over on the Tearjerkers site. If I don't see a city and state listed for you, I may contact you so we can populate the list, then Post it at the rally!

By the way...Dan and Laura Sutton from Greenwood IN are in site 103!

If you can indicate your post like this it would help!

Larry J wrote:I don't see how any site is booked as the website campground phone number only books cabins and refers you to an 800 number that will not book campsites for July 23, 2015 until January 23, 2015. I must be doing something wrong or calling the wrong number.

Larry, Theresa is correct, There are several people who are coming in "early" for the long extended stay. They were able to reserve from today for July 15th and so on.

You can book (6) months in advance of "your" desired arrival date. This desired date can be before the gathering official starts (on July 22).

If this is not making any sense, please contact me at 765-661-2779 and we can go over it.

Yes. I actually used a tent in 2013. No worries there.
