I never thought that we would ever be someone's idea of an indication that Spring/warm weather is officially here. I'm always excited by seeing my first Robin but now I have pictures in my head of some ranger going home and yelling to his/her spouse "Honey, Spring is officially here I just saw my first teardrop of the year". :?

Lots of good sites still left for Cooler IX

We have noticed that some people name their campers but we couldn't come up with a good name until now. MEGATEAR it is. Thank You

So glad you are joining us again this year flygal6. We have missed you. We are now 18 trailers only 6 less than last year and there is still plenty of time for more to join us. Best part is that htis park still has a ton of camping sites still available for anyone who wants to have a good time with great people.

Camping registration is here: http://wisconsinstateparks.reserveameri ... rkId=60021

I am looking for suggestions for where we should go for the Thursday Cook's Night Out. Last year we had 30 plus people and had a great time but were split up into smaller groups. Looking for suggestions about some local place where we can be together preferably or can accommodate our size of group split up. Suggestions?

Maybe Dennis & Cheryl, or Brew Bier- Bob,
could scope that out. We'd need a reservation
for that size group, maybe our own room.

Pigcooker
P.S. Will you and Cheri be joining us at Shabbona,
in May, Gary??

Do we want to go to a different place? The place we were last year has a back room but it was reserved. If we have 30 people Cheryl and I could check if we could get that back room. If you all want to go somewhere else, there are a few other places that could accommodate that size of group but again we would have to arrange in advance. It would be a good start to find out how many are interested in going. As for now Doug and Nan, Gary and Cheri, and Cheryl and myself. Thats 6 for sure. I would like a rough count so we will be somewhat sure of the size of the group. There is the Highland house and a mexican restaurant El Camino's. Hops Haven which is a microbrewery that has a party room that can handle up to 50 people.
