Doug & Nan, YES - for Cooks Night Out.
However, NO, Lutefisk, Menudo, or
Steak & Kidney Pie, for us. I will
sample some Headcheese, if there is
some to try.
Italian & or Burgers are :woohoo: just fine.

I plan on being there Thursday. Unfortunatly, the USDA has yet to lift the restriction on imported Haggis so Doug is once again out of luck. :R

:Flippin Burger: So that puts us at 10 trailers with 2 people each, 3 trailers containing 1 person each and Bob who lives in town as the current possible total to attend Cook's Night Out. Or maybe 24 attendees at this moment. :Flippin Burger:

Cheri and I are heading up to Sheboygan in just a few minutes. We plan on dropping in at the recommended "8th Street Ale Haus".

Menu: http://8thstreetalehaus.com/wp-content/ ... b-2016.pdf

And then go over to the "Bull" http://www.golfthebull.com/?page_id=25 for supper with both of my brothers and their wives. Will post a review tomorrow and give an opinion.

Stop and and looked at 3 Sheboygan restaurants on Saturday with my two brothers. We ate at one. The 8th Street Ale Haus, the Bull and Holiday's.

We ate at the Bull which is a world class golf course and the food was good. Price was also acceptable and it has an excellent room off the main dining area that would be perfect. They even have a larger room with it's own bar that they would be willing to let us have. On the negative side it took them over 15 minutes to get 4 drinks to our table and they were less than a quarter full. I had Shepard's Pie and Cheri had Beef Stroganoff. Pizza looked real good. The setting is really nice, after all it is a golf course in the Kohler area

Holiday's had about 15 large TV's and a small area that is part of the main room. It is up scale and had a 20s-30s crowd. Fairly noisy.

The 8th Street Ale Haus had lots of different beers and is an up scale brew pub. They also have a perfect small room that they could put us in that is separated from the main room by a glass wall. Wide variety of burgers and pub fair.

All are very clean/new and easy for us to find without following each other. We rejected Holiday's because of the noise and the lack of a true separate room. Between the other two Cheri and I are in agreement. We feel our group will like the 8th Street Brew Haus best.

It is actually only a few blocks from where we ate last year. You get off the interstate at the Hwy 23 exit and drive until you come to the first stop sign (lots of stop lights before) and turn left. It's right there on the first block. I think everyone will enjoy this place.

8th Street Ale Haus would be fine. Did you ask about making reservations?

First picture is of the 8th Street Brew Haus which is on the corner. The second picture is of the room and it's seating which will be made available to us. Parking can be an issue but in the third picture you can see the Brew Haus on the far right with a parking lot on the left separated by a building. The parking lot has signs indicating it is for the Brew Haus. Use this if you can not find parking on the street nearby.

In the first picture you can see a car coming towards me with it's headlights on. That is how far away Hwy. 23 is from the restaurant. It really is just around the corner.

DWE I will take care of reserving the room.

Excellent work Gary and Cheri. You guys have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Don't be surprised if there is a little something extra in your pay envelope.

See you soon. The warmer the weather gets the harder it is to wait for the season to start!
