The purpose of a food thread is to provide the precipitants with an opportunity to have a well rounded meal prepared by those attending. It is non-binding in that you can change your proposed submission to something different if you feel there is something missing in our planned meal that you can fill by changing your proposed meal. It is important that you give others an idea of what you are planning to make so that they can bring the one item that they feel is missing to make the meal perfect. As in the past pick either Saturday Breakfast or the Saturday evening meal to make something to share. Post it on this thread so that others can add something appropriate. Then prepare to enjoy two great meals.

Gary, I will be first.....Saturday Breakfast, I will make Fried Potatoes. Seems like I am in a rut, but there are never any left. So either I'm not making enough, or people like them.

Ok I'll be next..... I will make a bunch of donuts with my cast iron cloverleaf donut form for breakfast. I will make different kinds of donuts like blue berry and maybe raspberry ,cinnamon and powdered donuts. I'm gonna have to practice here at home to see how they are going to taste. And maybe a few more to try..... and just a few more..... And maybe just a few more just to make sure

bcsnave you only need to contribute to one unless you really want to contribute to both. I will admit I like using my Dutch Oven and will often do both but we expect each camper to only help with one meal. Please advise as to what you want to do.

Thanks

I Haven't subjected 'Cooler' to my chicken curry, so I guess that is what I'll be cooking up for dinner this year.
Sorry if I make the shelter smell like a cheap motel.

Since we have the shelter, I'll toss a ham into a slow cooker--whether that'll be for breakfast (and leftovers for dinner Saturday) or just for dinner; put that wherever it makes sense.

Looking forward to it!

Sherry, I put your ham down for breakfast as it seemed like the perfect compliment to Steve's potatoes. Let me know if you prefer different.

I will make waffle maker sweet rolls. Cinnamon and orange. I will also have some beer along, it's not just for breakfast any more. It's supposed to be a Sierra Nevada pale ale clone. We will see how it turns out.
