Carter & Susan, that's right. From past experience, the quicker the reservations are made the better chance people have of getting a good spot. You don't have to wait until the 20th, you can come earlier and enjoy the extended time.
I'm going early (possibly July 14th) so I can have some time at the park to get things ready. People have been coming earlier each year. It must be the "retirement crowd" getting bigger each year.
January will be quite busy at the reservation site.

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!
CRA 2017 is officially under way. We have received our "first" registration as of today 1/5/2017.
Kevin & Mary Chriss are our first entries. Thanks for being first Kevin & Mary...

Here is a challenge to ALL Tearjerker Directors and chapters.
Bring your chapter members to the CRA 2017 and make this a "truly" National/International" gathering.
In past years we have had members from 26 states and/or provinces but we can do better than that if we really try.
Previous years enjoyed chapter camper's attendance of around 142-146 and made up of many of the nearby chapters as well as many of the more distant chapters.
We have a total of 181 sites available in the park (including both Loop A and Loop B) but to reserve them all is strictly based on "first come/first served".
In Reserve America website (for Indiana State Parks) will allow us to reserve sites (6) months in advance of your camping dates.
January will be the first month that we can start reserving sites. For example, I'll start my camping on July 14. This means that on JANUARY 14th, I'll be able to make my reservation for the July dates.
Not everyone will come in that early, however, what ever dates you choose, the 6 month rule applies.
We are inviting all Tearjerker Chapters to attend and join in the fun. Please spread this invitation to your members and get ready to reserve your sites as soon as they become available.

Please notice that there is a note on the CRA2017 web site that reads, "Note! sites #47, #64, #103, and #104 are held for the organizers."
Please do not reserve these sights.

Don't forget to send in your "Wall of Fame" photos"Wall of Fame"
email pictures to [email protected]Also, the reservations for your site can be made (6) months in advance of your dates. Stay alert on the proper date in January so you can reserve the site of your choice.
Please note: #47,#64, #103, #104 are reserved for the organizers.

It's cold and gloomy here with a threat of freezing rain through the weekend.
To make it seem a little brighter, I will be making my CRA reservations at Noon today.
I'm going in early (July 14th) and staying until the 25th.
Reservations can be made (6) months prior to your camping dates so make no excuses if you don't get the sight you want because you didn't realize the (6) month advance reservation rule.

Got me all excited and I jumped up to get my old seminar site and it tells me I gotta wait !
Well the 21st is coming up soon so I guess I just have to wait till Saturday
