Well, we're putting the cart before the horse -
we'll be picking up our Silver Shadow this weekend and we've already booked. Ed sent an email to Dave, but here's the info:

Site: 223
Dates: June 8 - 12 (actually screwed up and booked to the 13th)
not sure if we'll fix it or camp it - 4 or 5 nights
Names: Rose and Ed Van Keuren (and Tupper, our GSD)
From: Cherry Hill, NJ
Trailer: Silver Shadow

We've camped at FCP for the 90-miler the last 5 or so years, and even managed to camp there for a week one time. Met Les and Al and their Camp Inn up there in Sept 2009. We were dragging a popup trailer that we've since sold. :)

Hey Theresa... are you going to be organizing/hosting the beer tasting this year? I am happy to volunteer as a tester again! (that was a fun night this year). Let us know if you'll be doing so again. :D

I hope the beer tasting is on for next year. Here is the first bottle from Elm Street Brewing !!!

Yummy! Irish Stout sounds good.

Beer tasting is absolutely on for next Spring! Last year was fun so why not do it again? Here's the plan:

2011 Friday Night Pints Beer Tasting
7pm (or we can start at 6 if that's preferred)
Site #231

Come for an evening of casual beer sampling.
-Bring your favorite home brew, local micro brew, or just plain old favorite brew for folks to sample. (plus any extra that you might want to have for yourself)
-Fireside snacks will be welcomed if folks want to nibble throughout the evening. Keep it simple.
-Musical instruments are welcomed for fireside entertainment. (If you can play one...that would be even better!)

Hey I'm back! Sheesh.. been a while since I did updates, but alas they are done and its still 2010 !

So as of today we have 33 sites book.. short of the 50+ sites we normally have, however it is still early!

Think I have everyone who sent email, pm's, posted here or there....

So who am I missing? http://tearuptheadk.com/participants.html

Be sure to check out the TearUp 2010 which is featured in the ever popular "One With the Sun" video on Fish Creek Pond TV. Visit for your Fish Creek fix and check out all the red nosed campers at the TearUp!

PS... here is some 'Christmas Tear' for you all!

Updated the list again.

And for anyone interested in early season camping, Fish Creek opens in a mere 74 days on April 15th! We'll be there!

Quiet bunch!

Anyways added a few more campers to the list. Up to 39 trailers now! Still wondering who the 6 mystery campers are. Anybody know?

I've extended the list of campsites down to site 217 and up to 259. Consult the participants list to get a site with 'the gang'. Current best site to book would be 229 which is still vacant. It's nice and large, sports a great sunset view and is located close to the wine and cheese on our site (241) for easy party access on Saturday. 8)

And for anyone interested in early season camping, Fish Creek opens in a mere 46 days on April 15th! We'll be there along with a few other TearUp campers.

Cheers!

We booked site 220 from June 4 - June 13. Can't wait. Dave if it isn't too much trouble could you add Courtney to our entry in the participant list? Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Boy, as much as I'd like to do this, I don't think we'll have our "new" ttt till May. I can't see coming up to Fish Creek for the weekend without it, but there probably won't be any decent spots left. I guess all we can do is wait and see, or just plan for 2012, God willing!

Enjoy!

Frank
Are you saying that you're getting your TTT in may.
The tearup is in June so you should have plenty of time to make it.
Save your pennies for gas now. And head on up.
The more the merrier.

Yes Wayne, we expect to have our ttt by the end of May. It's a long story, so trust me. We've been tent campers for 40 years, so moving into a ttt will be somewhat luxurious.

Save pennies is right! I got gas this morning at $3.599, and coming home tonight saw the same station went to $3.629. If things aren't bad enough, I have a classic speed boat with a vintage Mercury 100 hp outboard that requires premium! I think that boat will get a lot of electric trolling motor use this summer....
