Nice pictures Kerry!! I think I will be needing copies of a few of those, I'll let you know which ones in a PM. By the way, had a great time as usual, it's always great to see everybody and to check out all the tears. I came away with a few ideas to make some mods on the FanDrop. All the food was delicious as always ( Got to get me one of those DO's) Marc thanks for bringing the venison summer sausage and the moose jerky, it was a real treat!!! I'm looking forward to drinking some more Piss Hill IPA with you next year. Also, Diane would like to apologise to anyone who lost the use of their fingers due to frostbite from shaking the ice cream bags!! :o

Great pictures Kerry. Somehow, as nice as they are, they can't capture the full atmosphere of FCP.

Can't wait to go back.

Thanks, Kurt! You are sure right that photos can't do the place any justice at all.

You're welcome and thanks for trying everything. Glad you liked it. I seem to have come home with one Piss Hill IPA left in the cooler. Not sure how that one escaped the weekend  The ice cream was a great treat for everyone. We just had to work for it, that's all. :) April says hello to everyone. She had a lot of trouble travelling yesterday with cancelled flights, lost luggage, etc. She was supposed to arrive in Weiser, ID at 8:30 pm last night but didn't get there until 7:30 this morning. By the time she got to the Boise airport last night (1:00AM) "Dollar" had shut down and didn't open until 6:00 am, so she had to wait there all night. So, she still hasn't been to bed yet and won't until late tonight.

Dave 'n Kate's TearUp Summary

Postby campadk » Mon Jun 18, 2007 7:57 pm

Well finally back! After 4.5 hours packing up, dock included LOL.

What a great time! Sorry some had to leave a day early, Sunday was a fun day for those lucky enough
to stay.

Again both Kate and I would like to say thanks to all who came up to the Adirondacks to make this the
most successful TearUp yet! I believe we had 47 campers in final attendance. The weather was pretty near perfect, the pot luck spectacular, met new
and old friends and everyone seemed to have a blast.

For those who haven't heard, the fall TearDown will be held once again at Nicks Lake State Park in
Old Forge, NY on the weekend of September 9, 2007. Sounds like many are planning on going!
Rick will be posting some info on sites to book shortly.

I have over 650 photos from the TearUp. Will take a bit of time to put into an album and likely a
video, but for now here are a few photos from the weekend including some of my favs. Once
I have the photo album ready, I'll have larger downloadable version available for those who
want a larger image for printing.

No... well... it seems Steve has retired from the world of waffles and has moved on to more difficult tasks.. like making and licking ice cream.

Darla is now the new Waffle Queen, and shares Steve's knack for making those fun waffles...

Looks like a great time was had by all! We are SO sorry to have missed it but we're finding ourselves grateful for what we have and having fun just being together. Apparently all I did was wrench the muscles in my back – no nerve or other internal damage - which simply means that for a while I have to hobble around and go "Ow-ow-ow!" a lot. No big deal – it'll pass and God willing we'll be there next year!

We missed you!

Just a quick note from the Long Lake Library WIFI.

Had a great time with everyone! Sorry to have missed you Joseph and Kate & Sarah.

Lake Eaton is a very nice campground. Hardly anyone here this week.

Will be in contact later.
