Just received this in my e-mail.....

Dear Ed and Becky Murray,

The Ecumenical Charity Program thanks everyone for the donation of food for the Food Pantry of the Charity Program. Without the support, donations and volunteers, the program would not be possible. During the month of April 2010, the Food Pantry was able to assist 155 households consisting of 135 children and 240 adults. In addition to food the Ecumenical Charity Program also assisted with energy costs, home repairs, transportation, rental costs, etc. Due to escalating costs in energy and food costs as well as job loses, the Ecumenical Charity Program is expending more monies this year than in previous years. The majority of those benefitting from the Ecumenical Charity Program are those individuals who work in restaurants, stores, motels, hotels, etc. They are working individuals in need. All those who work for, support and use the Ecumenical Charity Program are thankful for you donation.

Again we thank you for your donation. With your generous donation, The Ecumenical Charity Program is able to carry on with its mission of helping those who are in need.

Sincerely,
Judith A. Clausing-Lundin
Secretary

Ed and Becky,
Just a note to thank you for orginizing the food drive. It is a most worthwhile cause and it made this past weekend even more enjoyable knowing we were camping with a group of people that keep the less fortunate in mind . We will begin stocking up for next year immediately to ensure that you will need 2 vehicles to deliver it. I would also like to offer our Suburban up as one of the delivery vehicles if need be. Again thanks for caring. :applause:

We received a very nice, hand-written card in the mail today from Linda Young. She is the woman who we deal with at the food pantry.

Sparky & Clare-she was so happy to have met you & glad that we brought friends to see the pantry. She wanted us to know that she was able to get the meds & minutes with the cash. :applause:

Another great Tear-Up!

Pat and I got home yesterday after 2,634 miles and a final stop at Boogie-in-the-Hills with the Buckeye Chapter. Three weeks on the road was a blast, but it is good to be home.

Old friends, new friends, kayaking, campfires and music..... it don't get no better. :applause:

Dave and Kate, thanks for hosting another great gathering.

I just saw you on YouTube. I guess it was the boogie in the hills gathering.
I'm glad to hear that you made the trip safe and sound.
So do you have any pics of your trip that your willing to share with us?

Hey Wayne,

Haven't had time to download/upload any pics yet, however we didn't take too many. Been busy getting the yard caught up and had to go get the pup at my brothers today.

They should be on Picasa in a day or two.

Very nice meeting you and your great family at ADK.... and getting a close look at your teardrop. A fantastic work of art.

We only stayed at Keuka Lake one night on the return trip, and then went to Cook Forest SP in PA for another before going to Boogie in the Hills in OH.

Mark and Pat

EDIT: THE PICTURES ARE ON OUR SITE NOW (what few we took..... )
