Where to go in/near Maryland for winter camping?

I'd like to go test the insulation in my trailer and go someplace relatively nearby for a day or two at most. All the state parks are closed and the only KOAs in Maryland (Hagerstown and Gambrills) are likewise closed.

Any ideas?

You can try Pohick Bay Regional Park Campground in Lorton, VA near Gunston Hall. This campground is on my "to do" list for next year.

It's open year round.

Too late to jump in on this now, but know that the full hook-up loop in Elk Neck State Park stays open all winter and has heated bathrooms/hot showers. Very nice place. Went tenting there in January.
