Geesh, it'll be crowded!

Looks likes there are just the 3 sites in A section available 2-5 Sep. And they aren't together (...'scuse me sir, can we switch campsites so I can be next to the margarita mixer?) Are there other options, maybe this isn't the best weekend for the Teardown? We might be up for the Canadian turkey in October, if that's politically correct.

Nope, not building kayaks or canoes right now. I have been busy fixing up old wood/canvas canoes though, another hobby of mine. I'd be happy to build a stripper for someone though!
The X-BB has had just one addition since the Tearup. I added a box, similar to the ones on Camp-Inns, on the tongue shelf so we have better clothes storage inside. Funny how unemployment changes things at home huh?

Just about to head out here...

Anyways its hard at this time to get several sites together. The A sites are pretty close though if I'm not mistaken.

Yes the Canadian Tnx Giving is Oct 10th so we are planning on Oct 7,8,9, 10 outselves. At that time it's first come first serve. They always have lots of spot though, as with any time when the kids are back in school.

I wish I could join you guys again - the Spring TearUp was great! But having just ordered awnings for both my teardrop and my Scotty, plus trips to California in September and December, the TearJerkers' Fall Foliage Festival at Spruce Run SP in NJ, and at least one more week long Scotty trip in the fall (destination TBD) I'm afraid my travel and leave budgets are pretty well shot for the year.

Hope you do the Spring TearUp again - if so I'll see you then!

I'll be checking with Fish Creek today to see our best options and will post more info on here.

Enjoy Cap Cod!

Hi Dave,

Our Cubby won't be ready to camp in for Labor Day. So, Wendy and I will be tenting on the Cape over Labor Day Weekend. But, we're still interested in meeting you folks. But, I've GOT to get this thing done by November since we don't have a garage to park it in over the winter.

Thanks anyway for welcoming us. We hope that we can do Spring Tear-Up 2006. If not, we'll try to organize something our selves here in New England.

Take care,
Tom Swenson

Well based on responses and the whole reservation issue for Labour Day, the revised date for a 'non-formal' fall TearDown will be the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, Oct 7-10, 2005. There won't be any problem getting a group of sites together or in close proximity. Sites are offered first come, first serve and the park isn't overly busy at this time either.

At least 6 couples have indicated interest in these dates so far. So if you do plan on going, post here to let us know.

Kate and I still plan on Labour Day Norm. It probably might not really rain at all or much you know

Hey ya Rick!

Our thanksgiving is much like yours, although we have ours during warmer weather

We do the turkey, cranberry sauce, potatoes and wine combo ourselves.

Not sure how to cook a turkey on the Coleman stove though.... I better consult with Kate on that one!

Thanks again for that wheel Rick I'm hoping to get it bored out (to fit) next week so we can try it out Labour Day weekend.

Hi all,

Joan & I would very much like to attend the Fall Tear Up,but jobs, scheduling, and kayaking event may interfere. For now count us as a maybe, until we get closer to the date. We will be keeping an eye on this thread.
