Tom-
Good to see that you can make it- and making a whole week of it at that! I'm on vacation that week also but the wife can't get off til thursday!
Dave-
Diane has thrown the responsibility of making this sign to me,so that should level out the playing field   She wants to dedicate her time to drinking Scotch and any thing you might whip up in your blender! :icedtea:

We tried to reserve site 182, but the web site was having a "time out" problem. We will try to call tomorrow. We plan on arriving late Friday and leaving Sun evening. We have to work, or we would be there earlier in the week. -Ray & Debby

How about a 12"X18" vertical hung ,so that a user could use a flag holder like{scroll} near the bottom .
http://flagsforsail.com/flagaccessories.htm Lots of people in our area use these for name & camp site flags. Just my 2 cents.

Can anyone steer me to some samples of these camp flags? I don't mean someone who makes them... I'm look for examples of these flags others have used for their camp or gatherings. Post a photo or two if you can!

Kate and I are in the process of getting this done but wanted to see some other examples. We'll be doing the vertical 12x18's.

I'll have pricing available shortly. Hopefully we have enough time to get them make.

Thanks!

Hi Dave &Kate,

Actually if you click that link ,on the left hand side there are theme flags,holidays,dog/cat,etc. The ones we see around our campgrounds are mostly hand made of family names,or campsite nicknames. The flags we have are all the major holidays, cats{we got one},seasons, and places we traveled to. Joan changes them about every 2 weeks depending what's going on that month. One with a teardrop, and campfire would work . A blank space at the bottom possibility for your name, camp site nickname,or teardrop name,is just an idea.Of course Spring tear up 2006 somewhere on it . Any other ideas?

Thanks Bill,

Here is where we are at so far. We figured removing the dates would be a good idea. Kate is working out how to get them printed. One place wants about $27 each which might be high. We hope to buy blanks and have our t-shirt guy from last year print them.

As you can see, you could hang a name sign board below if you like.

Hi all,

I know it's about a month away, but the Spring Tear Up will be here faster then you think. We were wondering ,are we planning on having a pot luck supper one night ? You can count us in on a Tear Up yard flag. Lets hope for perfect weather, because a canoe hold a lot of rain water LOL. See you all then.

We're pumped for the Spring Tear Up. I suggest we do the pot luck Saturday night as some of us need to leave Sunday afternoon. I'd llove to make something in our Dutch Ovens.

We were at the Tearjerkers Liberty Bell Chapter Spring Fling at Parvin State Park in NJ last weekend. We all had a great time. We can't wait until the next gathering. Let us know how we can help out. -Ray & Debby
