July 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd - Crossroads of America (CRA) Gathering -At McCormick’s Creek State Park - Spencer Indiana

This one’s a doozie folks! It only happens every two years and it’s a great chance to meet up with fellow teardrop and tiny trailer owners from across the country. There will be all manner of trailers there from amazing home built teardrops to some incredible vintage teardrops and tiny trailers. For added eye candy you'll also see some gorgeous classic tow vehicles.

I will be heading out to Indiana from Connecticut for this meet. I’d love it if some of you decided to join me in a convoy! A few of us did this in 2015 and it made the trip out much more fun. We even picked up a lone teardropper along the way.

I will be arriving that Tuesday, July 18th prior to the official gathering start date to enjoy a bit of down time after the drive to explore the park and the area before the event gets into full swing. I haven't completely decided on my departure day as of yet. I might leave that Sunday so that I can take my time heading out there. Either that or I'll head off that Monday and make an overnight stop probably just into Ohio. There's a really nice state park that we stayed at on the way out to the last CRA that I'm considering going back to. These are all details that will be worked out as the trip gets closer.

Due to it’s size and the cost involved in putting it on, there is a small registration fee to help defray expenses for T-shirts, breakfasts, etc. Full details are on the web page for this event. Here’s the link to the web page - http://cra2017.weebly.com/

Here’s the link to the thread regarding the gathering itself. http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/vi ... =17&t=9518 -- This is the thread to follow for all current info and updates regarding this gathering.

Folks are already starting to register for this event. Reservations for campsites will open up in mid January at the 6 month mark from the date of reservation. Don't wait until the last minute to book!!! Sites get snatched up quickly and both loops do fill up. Be sure to go to the gathering thread to post your site number if you make a reservation so that the attendee's map can be kept up to date.

Let me know if you want to join me!
