Cool!

I was also thinking Platte River. You know, those Corps of Discovery chaps.

It's been a nice day today. Soooo....

On with the kayak building. At this rate, I ought to be done, done in a month or so, including building the seats.

So, unless I can't find some paddles to buy in the next 2 1/2 months, I should have a kayak to explore New Fork Lake in.

She's 16.5 feet, and a tandem cockpit.

I'll be bringing my new inflatable kayak with me, so looking forward to the trip.
I heard great things about WTW from Martin and Liz Albright of the Colorado Teardrop & Tiny Trailers. :D

So, can someone who used to have a teardrop but now has a TT join in the fun? Always wanted to go to the WTW but never was able to in the past. It would be fun to meet tear droppers again. Have had fun in the past at teardrop gathering. Please let me know. We can camp in the trees so you won't see the TT! I do still have the "Untear" (as I call it) but it needs some work to get it back tow worthy.
I cut it three times and it's still too short!!
Perfection is all I ask.......

I am neither the host nor co-host but can attest to the fact that we have had tt in the past and hostilities were held to an absolute minimum ( lol ). I am sure the host will chime in soon but welcome on board. Lee and Norma

Thanks Slow. I should be done with the hull in the next day or so. I'm building seats right now. After that I need to do a bunch of sanding, then spar varnish just like my teardrop.

And buy some paddles. Otherwise, I'll be a up a creek without...

It's getting closer! I'm going to do a trial run with my kayak and tear combo in a couple of weeks.

I was camping with the Colorado TD and Tiny Trailers this past weekend in Poudre Canyon. :P :P Word is that
Walk the Winds has the most amazing lantern light up there is (according to Martin Albright). I'm not the owner of a gas lantern, but am
looking forward to being with ya'all soon. 8)

I have a 220B that ive debated bringing. I've not been able to get it started up in the past, and haven't tried recently.
