Doesn't matter to me either way - once it's decided I'll call my reservations in... I know this doesn't help in the decision-making - or maybe it does... :?

The boss just told me she would like electricity. So if I went with a site around the middle say 275 or 298 than those that didn't want the electric could be right across the road and we'd still be close together. I guess if we're all in the same side we ain't that far apart.

Gary,

That looks like it would work out well for everyone. It's also close to water and the restrooms. I vote for 275-278 and 294-298.

Sounds good Scott and Gary. I'll go out Tuesday (7-26) and scout out the grounds and tell the camp attendants what we will be up to .

I got back from Clinton and scoped out the campground. The sites 263, 265, 270, 271, 272, 274 have great big parking pads. The two that are taken by the park attendant and custodian are #273 and 276. I marked some pads that are completely covered in shade. They are #'s 268, 279, 280 and 288. It's by no means a complete list but just some of them. All the sites have trees but some have more than others. I took a few pictures if you want me to email them to you. I'm not smart enough to stick them on the site so you can see them. I asked the park attendant why those lower numbered sites are not reservable. It is for the people, he called them lugheads, that wake up at 10AM on 4th of July weekend and come down and ask for three spots right in a row down by the lake with electric hookups. That's where they get to go. Hee hee!

Jeff
Thanks for checking out the sites or us. Since I like shade and Trudy wants the electric I just reserved site #280. Hope that is ok with the rest. See ya all there.

I tried to book on the net using Reserve America and it shows the dates unavailable. I'll try calling.

Okay, I figured it out, sometimes it takes me a while. I reserved site #281 for Friday and Saturday night. I will also probably be leaving early Sunday. This sounds like it is going to be great fun.

One more post. Here are the two reserved sites that I am aware of. If you would like to be added to the map send me your site # and name(s).

Okay - I'm in! Scott please add my name to the map. I reserved site 282 next to you. I signed up for tent camping because I know myself pretty well and won't have a TD ready by then. Looking forard to it no matter where I sleep. Thanks, Dave Speicher
