An update toward our gather.... for all that are planning on coming
up.

As you know it has turned chilly here in Colorado... my friend
George has sent the following from just a few miles from the
campground. Looks like the days will be typical Autumn and the
nights cold, just the way we like it in Colo in the autumn...Ha! Ha!

So please do plan ahead, firewood, and plenty of blankets, sweaters
and coats... here's a glimpse of the weather.

Forecast for Florence, Canon City...

28th Thurs Sunny High 69°F Low 50°F Precip. 20 %
29th Fri Mostly Sunny High 74°F Low 51°F Precip. 20 %
30th Sat Partly Cloudy High 74°F Low 51°F Precip. 0 %
1st Sun Mostly Sunny High 73°F Low 50°F Precip. 10 %

I have some help (Duane and George) on a pancake breakfast Sat morning and then can do the pot luck Sat night...Looking forward to a great campout!

I am an ER RN....can't get away with anything unless a chunk of lung comes up when ya cough. :lol:

T= Darn it, maybe the hot water tank could blow up and flood the basement!!! Jus tryin to help you go south!!!! P

No basement either. :(
I get migraines at work every night I am there. I have tried to tell them I am allegic to flourescent lights. No one believes me. Even thought it is a true diagnosis.

Thanks for getting this together. We had fun and am sorry that we couldn't stay longer. Already looking forward the next campout. Looking forward to seeing everyones pictures. I have a couple that I'll post soon. It was good to see everyone.

It was great meeting you guys. Thank you so much for letting us stop by and look around. I wish we could have hung around longer.
George thank you for the goodies Parker really likes the hat. As soon as I get time I will post the few pictures I have.
