This is also the same weekend as what the Last Gasp will probably be

:?

I'm only an hour or so away from the Last Gasp gathering spot. I have no idea how far I would be from Crawford. Let me look.

Whew Eastern Kansas, almost on the MO line. Ya that's a good 8+ hours for us.

I "might" make the Fort Gibson trip because we have family in that area. I have a wedding in August in St. Louis to go to though so we might not even able to get down for the Fort Gibson trip.

Either way, I'll be at the Last Gasp which will probably be the same weekend as Crawford.

I have a subscription to a magazine called "Midwest Living". The issue I got today has articles naming the best State Parks for camping ... they listed 2 for the state of Kansas ... and Crawford was one of them :applause: Trudy

You just show up!! Darren (Victor Star) reserves the entire group camping area and then we divide up the cost among those that come. Last year I think we all ended up paying $10.00 a nite. We have a fantastic shelter house overlooking the lake .. and a circular fire pit that we all share .. its in the middle of the campground. And its a huge pit ... even meets the standards for Jeff (warpony). Trudy

I've edited my original post with more information on the gathering and the area.

Thanks campers!
