What has the weather been like the last weeks… ? My little woody has no AC, just a battery operated fan. I have to be at a Fun fly the 13 and would not be able to hit the road until the 14.

Well. I was just thinking about Walk the Winds. We been getting rain here the past three days and most of our rain is heading Slow's direction. I would not worry to much about the heat. It is high country and cools off pretty good at night.

Humm, I pulled My little woody 2.5k this June and July and added 4 more states to my map. Might have to make it 5.

I hit the Coleman Convention in Charlotte, MI, visited old friends in Ohio, the parents in AK, and more friends in OK.

Need two new tires.. but might have to try to make it. Are Dogs welcomed?

It is a good place for dogs. There was 4 or so there last year. How do you have Montana and Washington colored on your map but missed Idaho?

Funny, I been asked that question before, Twice. See it is really narrow up top and you can get enough speed coming out of the mountings just to jump over it at the narrowest part.

The truth is, I only mark the Map where I have set up my camper and slept for the night. This is camping sites, truck stops, or parking lots. The Map is for my Teardrop camping. It does not include any of the trips my family when I took when I was a kid. If it did, every state in between Ohio and Florida, and west would be colored except Idaho oddly enough. This just gives me something to shoot for. When Max Headroom gets built I gonna do a east coast run. Max will be set up for longer touring trips so I’ll make it a point to stop and camp and every state and see a few sights. My Little Wood is more for a week or two camping and stops along the way.

If I can make it I can stop the first night in Colorado as well. Two more states. Whoo.

I am thinking I will try to extend my stay in Yellowstone for another day and show up on Friday. There is just so much to see in the park.

Finished modifications to my trailer. I don't have to worry about recharging a battery when I am boon-docking now. :D

190 Watt Solar Panel.

And the charge controller. It is showing 13.7 volts because the shore power is plugged in. Not enough light in my garage to get any power from the panel.

John Looking forward to seeing your solar setup and will undoubtedly drive you crazy with questions. As you will see at the gathering I borrowed some of the shape of your tear when I built ours. Lee and Norma

Slow,

Are there any plans laid out for pot luck meals? I think last year we ended up doing a pot luck dinner Friday & Saturday, then a breakfast on Sunday. I'm not sure if it was planned or just kinda happened that way. We've got some ideas on things to bring, just trying to narrow down the list. I don't think you can bring to much food to a gathering as there is always someone willing to help eat it. Especially if it's pie :R

Will there be any lantern experts there? I messaged Randy and alas, he said he will not be there.

Just thinking of bringing one of my non-working 200's to see if I can get some "hands on" tips on troubleshooting.

Unlike year 1 when I had no lantern and year 2 when I only had a non-working 242B, this year I will be bringing at least 2 working lanterns, and maybe more if I can squeeze them in the truck. Will also be bringing Kayaks to enjoy New Fork Lake.

Will not be bringing Shaila, though. She doesn't seem to travel as well as she used to so we're leaving her with Grandma (my mother) at our house.
