OK campers, here are some tentative plans

Dutch oven potluck Saturday evening ( Cynthia we STILL like pies! ) and Sunday B'fast potluck (?)

Trying to leave plenty of time in schedule for relaxing, visiting, and ?????

Any other ideas?

Will

On of the guys in 2012 tried his hand at fishing from the shore, and caught one little fish. Not sure how long he was at it. I think the fishing license was pretty expensive for out of state people. Maybe a local will chime in with more info.

Here is the info I found. Looks like 14 a day for non resident.

I think Paul got 3 non resident daily passes. So 14 bucks X3 = 42.00 Of just spend one long day and catch enough to feed us all dinner.

If everything works out this winter then I will have finished a truck camper and we will be traveling in that this summer.
Which will let us bring the yak's and do some fishing.
So there is a possability of some fish for dinner.

As I counted the list, might not have counted correctly but I came up with 17 trailers and 12 states - now that's a gathering

I had faith you would make it so you are already on the list. Now we need to find out about Randy. We need to nudge him.

We count them all. If you camp in a cardboard box or a hammock it still counts!

Wow, this looks so possible! :D

Last year was so late the kids were starting school, so I couldn't even consider it. This year, though, it looks good. I've been wanting to take them to Yellowstone, I had been there about 12 times by the time I was their age (13 LOL). So first, Walk the Winds, and then Yellowstone. And we have that whole week after the gathering to get back to NM for the family reunion the next weekend.

If we make it through until spring without any dire illnesses (no joking, DS has had pneumonia 5 times, DD 4 times, although both have been healthy the past few winters) and I still have enough vacation on the books, I'm in.

Sorry I can't be any more definite than that. :(

Catherine

Catherine + Twins, we would love to have you join us. I will mark you down as coming. That is better karma then "maybe". If things change we will move you to maybe.

Have a great winter......
