WOW Looks like FUN was had by all who were their !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To bad I had to miss it !!

I found a job while being retired and the pay was to good to pass up on !!

Also, I would have had to bail out on saturday as my nephew decided to end his life @31 yrs old.

All I can hope for is to make it to the 2013 gathering !!

Stay safe and have fun !!!!!!!

Wanna Be,

;) ;)

It looks like it was a fantastic event..lots of new friends, big campfire, lantern light up,...you even had a logo for Walk the Winds! I had no idea you were that organized, Slow! Who knows where this can go...after next year the Dam Gathering won't be a teardrop gathering anymore, so Walk the Winds might be on people's calendars instead! You might end up with a whole bunch of teardrops over there!!

I'm so happy to hear it all worked out. And that was really thoughtful that they made a lantern for you. Something to cherish forever.

I have internet here at Devil's Tower KOA so just a quick note to say how awesome the gathering was. Mike and Steve put together a fantastic gathering. As usual I now have many new friends!

I'll be home Saturday or Sunday, and after I go through my more than 1000 photos, I'll put up some of the better ones. It was such a pleasure meeting the people that I have been interacting here on the forum with.

I was just surfing the forum and a guy mentioned the "SLO Gathering" and I thought that was a cool name... The post was from 2006 so maybe it isn't being used now, I like the SLO or SLOW because it means you are kicking back taking it SLOW!!! Just a thought

Thank you Nanny. Tomorrow morning I'm off to see my wonderful Mike after being apart for 3 1/2 weeks. Didn't realize our next time seeing one another would be to meet the other set of parents! A couple days w/him then a few days alone. When your around a few hundred people every day the last thing you want is to be around more people! We'll see each other again the end of next week before I head home. Sweet time together, and much needed time by myself. I couldn't ask for a better man in my life. :D :wine:

I aim to be at next years gathering (permitting I can get it off!).

Take care folks!
