Missouri - Show-Me Spring Break - April 15-17, 2011

Hey everybody,

I'm brand new to this. I have almost completed my first build and ready to start camping.I plan on attending this event. What I gather here is that all sites are reserved in the general area of the gathering but some are first come/ first serve (i.e. 29-32, 44-46). Am I correct with this? Sites 23-28 are still available close by. Some of have asked if you could "save" them a first come/ first serve site until they get there. I would like that opportunity also if someone is willing to do for me that or I can reserve one of those others. I will be driving from Springfield, Mo. after work, 3 hour drive.

You are correct with the exception that someone has reserved site 24. I found this on www.icampmo.com.

We plan on grabbing the adjacent non-reservable sites but this is a popular park so we may not beat others to the sites.

Yes, there is one next to you but it is 42. There are several non-reservables near us on both sides of the main road. We will have to keep track and try to snag them as needed. I'll let you sweet talk the host/hostess

Just over a month to go!!!!

It's above freezing and the snow is gone so I rode up to Arrow Rock earlier today to check on the park. Looks just like it did, go figure. There was only one older RV in the whole campground. There didn't look to be any construction projects underway.

I paused down at the bottom circle drive and looked back up the drive visualizing all of our campers and fine folks. I sure am looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Dang girl, whatcha doin up at that hour? I figured you were trying to type on your phone and auto correct hammered you.
Either that or you had collected some various colored glass vessels for campfire entertainment.


How much snow do you have this morning? We have about 3 inches and it is still suppose to precipitate for 12 - 14 hours more. At least it is suppose to warm up mid-morning so the roads will be clean for the evening commute.
