Hi all!

I'm hosting a potluck at my place 4/12-13/08 for the love of camping! Teardroppers bring yours and those without come see ours! We'll cook on the patio if the weather cooperates or the carport if it doesn't... Of course all Dutch Ovens are welcome, I'll have the grill going too!

PM me for specifics or email me at [email protected]

I know we have some newbies in the area... you are all welcome! Come on over!

I'll be there. It was great last year...even with all of the snow! Plenty of food and plenty of friends! Hopefully, the weather will cooperate a little better this time.

I wish that I was a bit closer also, but we on the west coast can't go everywhere, but sometimes we wish that we could.

Thanks for hosting the barbeque Pam. It was a pleasure meeting you all.

As promised here's the recipes for the vegetable dips I brought with me.

Hot Fennel Salt

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of rock salt
8 peppercorns
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Mix all the ingredients together in a spice grinder and work into a coarse powder.

Sesame Dip

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of sesame seeds
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of soy sauce

To make the dip, head a dry skillet over moderate heat. Add the seasame seeds and toast, string until they are popping and lightly browned. Transfer to a bowl and let cool completely.

Combine the sesame seeds with the yogurt, mayonnaise, and soy sauce and mix very thoroughly.
