I'll be in the Coeur Dalene campground in site #3. Anyone that wants to come camping is more than welcome.

I haven't decided yet but might go skydive on Saturday morning, you can come along if you want. The jump zone is in Osage City and the first few jumps are tandum (someone is strapped to your back). Lots of fun.

Later,
Darren

OOOOOO....... I should have the Jewel back this weekend and itching to go camping..... I see that Melvern Lake is about 4.5 hrs from me....

I'll think about it. Is it a nice place?

Never been there so I hope it's nice. I used Google maps to try and find a site with a little shade.

I'll be hauling our tiny trailer out to Coeur d' Alene tomorrow for our daughter to use.
Melvern Lake is a great spot. No mountains or ocean though. It is very well maintained in the federal parks (Coeur d' Alene is one of them) and well patroled.
I'll have to see what we have going that date. Maybe we will at least get a chance to run out and meet you. We go out once a week to walk for exercise.
We live in the town of Melvern which is three miles east of the lake.

Hey

Darren,

I got your PM; Momma says she wants to go and I think the kids will have fun also. What site are you at and do you need to have reservations first. We would get there sometime Friday night or early Sat. I've got your number. Thanks.

Cool Pete and Jack. Pete I would make a reservation. The campground looks to be about half full now. I'll be at site 3 and should be there before 5 on Friday.

Will be there Friday evening. My son and grand daughter will be there with their popup. That will be legal since he helped me with my build. Site 56 and 57.

:delivery:

Melvern is a nice lake. I have RV'd many times at the outlet park. My recommendation is to go to the Whistle Stop Cafe for lunch Saturday. I highly recommend their coconut creme pie. Everything else is very good also......

I reserved spot 6. It looks like many of the electric sites are gone. I look forward to a relaxing weekend. Too much stress in my life this month.

Well, how'd the camping trip go for everybody? I was getting the Widget frame welded up and painted on Saturday and had a belated 4th of July party at Anna's folks place that night.

I had a great time. A little windy on Friday and it rained Saturday from about 7am to 2pm but all in all a good weekend.
