We didn't request any thing special...We don't know anyone yet!! We are happy just finally getting to the point where we can us the TD! I hope we are not the cause of any problems...not a great way to win friends and influence folk! Yikes! Glad it's all working out!!!

I planning, hoping to come... Nic said he's going to plan to come too !

I haven't made a reservation yet but will. I 'm wondering what the weather will be like. I looked at accuweather.com for Lebanon, MO and just to get an idea. The 15 day forecast for the rest of April looks sunny and high 60s / low 70s.

I wonder what it will be like in mid May ...

Hey am I going to have to watch how I say stuff??????That's gonna be really HARD for me.....my mouth is usually engaged before it should be.....didn't mean you guys "asked for the spot", just in general....there could have been any number of things going on in the campground to cause these changes..no worry.... We are really virgins to these gathering also...only Beaver's Bend under our belts so far. Jeanne

I'm pretty informal, so you can count me in! I talked to the campground today and they said my trailer was too small to even rate a reservation, but they'd probably let me in anyway. Then on to Kentucky, W.V., Va., N.C. etc........ http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=28720. ...... Still looking for campgrounds, etc if ya got any ideas!!!!

For those of you who are bringing kayaks or canoes, there will be a $15 charge for each boat if you want to have the campground haul them up river. The other alternate would be to shuttle your own boats but you'd have to leave your car at the launch point and go back and get it.

This is pretty much standard procedure at any canoe outfitter's place so please don't think they're trying to stick it to you. I have two canoes and a kayak and we don't ever take them on a river if there is an outfitter. I figure by the time we hassle with loading/unloading, loss of gas mileage, it's about a washout so we just rent and are done with it.

I'm not discouraging anyone from bringing their boats but just wanted to throw that out there.

I am buying my first Teardrop Monday, but won't have it in time for the event. (it's in MN and my parents are picking it up and delivering to me mid-May.) I am in ST. Louis and have a family condo at Lake of the Ozarks (in-law's) so I can't miss out on seeing all of you for the first time. My family and I will either RV it in our Vintage GMC, or stay at the Lake and come over for a visit. We share the RV with 2 other families so I'll have to check the schedule. I can't think of a better way to spend Mother's Day.

We'll likely be going a potluck Saturday night so we expect you to stay and share that with us!
