Missouri Mill Creek - Tablerock Lake - Kimberling City

Postby queeniejeanne » Tue Jan 19, 2010 6:42 pm

Queenie Jeanne and Dennis are going to jump in and try a gathering....all interested:
Mill Creek, Corp of Engineers Park on Tablerock Lake, Just south of Kimberling City off hwy 13 on county RB. Brand new everything. Just finished and will open April 1.
I have deduced the dates of April 30 thru May 2.....
Not mixed up with anything or too close to anything that I know of....let me know there is a pavilion and I will have to get with my contacts at corp to find the charge?/?????? Sites 33 thru 50 are in an area that is close to the new restroom and shower house....I mean new...we'd be first almost.
Reply and we'll put links online here on this thread. Reservations are thru Recreation. gov. Queenie Jeanne & Dennis

(I edited the sites. M)

Missouri - Mill Creek Tablerock

Did not have a calender last night when I was doing this gathering thing...Nathan is really right on :hammer: when he says that getting in between holidays (who would have thought memorial day was the 1st.?) and other gatherings is the tough thing.....
But I am gutsy and if you don't have any family plans why not use it to create an advantage to the Tear Drop People. Holidays mean more people to see you and your Teardrop..........well that's a good view from here, will wait and see. I know probably Jeff (warpony) and Anna do an annual float or something and others do have long time family stuff....we don't and maybe some others don't.....so lets get together, reservations should be made early. The circle out onto the point by the brand new restrooms, sites 33-52. Not the shower house circle like I said at first will be best. This area is like a cove type and will be less crowded & less windy. Please make your reservations NOW to go to this gathering. With your federal park pass the fee is 1/2 price...two nights with electric/water total is $19.00. Queenie Jeanne Branson on Memorial Day, what a treat. It is really Kimberling City/Lampe. The quiet side of the Lake. Queenie Jeanne and Dennis

Count us in. Two gatherings in two weeks! Lots of practice for our western trip in June & July.
Can you post a link for reservations?

I know :? :duh: :duh: :duh: I have many here at the shop. Problem was I wasn't at the shop. Over at the apartment we don't have anything we don't have a constant need for....850 sq ft...not any extra room for non essentials like, oh say, a calender. :) ;) Queenie Jeanne

It looks doable... but I've to see about as we get just a tad closer...
