Miriam C.,

I live in the St.. Louis area, how we go is 44 west to 65 south to the Evans Rd. exit, go up the ramp (Make a right) then turn right on the west service road, following Evans road. Don't get off Evans Road, go over the bridge (Over Lake/River) follow it up the hill and the park will be on your right. Make a right into the park entrance and follow it all the way down into the valley. The event will be held in the Boat House valley. Camping will be up the hill through the gates across from the Boat House.

I (PM) you a message

Alan

 Thanks Alan. I will try to show up. Might even get to camp...Really we didn't know there was a campground.

 Mike Schn. might be interested in knowing that too. I know they stayed at the KOA a few times....

Miriam,

There really isn't a campground perse, it's a day park (Picnic use). The Springfield Parks Department, was kind enough to let people camp there for the weekend. The Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts & Moms Like Me Org. will all be camping in this area. I think its pretty much (No real designated spots) pick a spot and set up camp up in the day use area. Just remember, NO Amenities, so bring what you need. Should be fun!

ORCC/Bass Pro Outdoor Days 2010 Event

I want to thank all the ORCC members and vendors that helped with the event this year. The Outdoor Days event was a success with 5,000 plus consumers visiting our (18,700 sq.ft.) display in a two day period. This year we displayed over 40 manufacturers products, every type of gear you would need to keep you connected and self contained in the wilderness.

Thank You for all your help and support!
