Walking Sticks

phil was using mine, Darren....yes, they are worth the investment....get one that adjusts in two places and that is spring loaded, that has a tip and a tip rubber foot. When back and knees are bad these are a tremendous help. crossing creeks it also comes in handy......Brands do matter...get one with a mono pod head for holding your camera steady also....the head screws off to screw into your tripod foot on your camera. Yes, I see geese. I'm glad you guys went so I know that the fall colors are fabulous down that way this time of year. Most of our leaves have blown off up here.

I have a Leki National Geographic Series Horizon Trekking Pole. I'm not sure it is still made but here is one that is similar:

Save the image and upload into your album (that way you are in charge and somebody doesn't delete it on you).

Edit your Profile (link up on top of page)

Paste the URL for your image into the signature text box. Make sure you wrap the url in img tags.

Save the profile.

:)

Or worse yet if you link to someones photo they can change it to something not so nice. Seen it on the S-10 forums many times.
