I'll be making a DO Chicken Enchiladas Verdes dish for the pot luck.

Gary & Trudy - breakfast sounds great! Our group usually eats together anyway, so a group breakfast will make us feel right at home! Craig & I will bring a variety of juices.

Also, we tend to snack on Friday evening, so several of us are bringing apps to share.

Looking forward to meeting new friends & visiting with the "old" ones!

We'll have some wine to go with those snacks!

We're Home!

Postby GeoDrop » Sun Aug 21, 2011 2:40 pm

Sandi and I made it home safe this afternoon. We quickly unpacked so I could get to the airport in time. We had a fantastic time this weekend. The weather was good, the food was the best and the people the greatest! We took lots of pictures and some video. I'll work on getting those uploaded for everyone's viewing pleasure.

I think the general consensus is that we'll try and make this an annual event!

Gary and I made it home about 3 as well. Really enjoyed the get together ... was a beautiful park ... we definitely need to have get together in Iowa more. Perfect weather ... perfect group of people. (Sorry I hogged the Chocolate wine ... but that is Jeannie's fault ... even if she wasn't there!). Trudy

We got home at 6 after spending the day at the Iowa State Fair. Had a great weekend meeting everyone and seeing the great Teardrops.

Thanks for inviting us to your gathering.
We made it home around 6pm safe & sound. We enjoyed the weekend, meeting everyone from your group and felt very welcomed.

Getting out to see the bridges and freedom rock was something we have been wanting to do and the gathering gave us the oppertunity to do so.

The weather co-operated, food was great, people were awesome and pictures/memories will last forever!

Thanks everyone :)

I feel a little guilty saying I made it home before noon! (I'll get over it quickly, though.)

It was great meeting you all---a lot of real nice trailers, and a lot of real nice people. Thanks for making me feel welcome.

And thanks, Darren, for the pictures---just checked out your site and downloaded a few!

Best wishes to all............... Gary

I just sent you an email on it.

I think it was actually over by Matthew's parent's site or maybe the couple next to them?. I forgot you guys had left by the time we heard about it being found. It was probably taken by the kids who were roaming around Saturday night. No idea why they would leave it across the road by you guys.

I think Trudy and Sandi decided that a CASE of ChocoVine is required...
