Darren, could you post exactly how to get to the campground from I-35?

Just jump off I-35 at the Beto Junction Truck Stop, that's exit 155, Highway 75 and head south for about 19 miles. You'll take a right in the town of New Strawn, look for Coffee County Honda and Casey's General Store, onto Lake Road then veer left onto Embankment Road. That will take you across the flood gates and then part way across the dam you'll take a left down to the park.

You'll be looking for Riverside West. When you coming down? Thursday for me.

Sorry, I looked again and it's more like 12 miles off I-35, not 19.

I'm going to do a Southwest casserole thing-a-ma-bob for potluck. I can't remember the name of it but it is pretty tasty. Hamburger, Rotel, rice, beef broth, red and green peppers topped off with cheese.

I'd tell you I'll be feeding everyone with all the fish I'm alledgedly going to catch but I'd hate to bring Minnow Soup and be banned for life from the group

Our wine and cheese swaray is shaping up to be quite an event. We should have a very good selection of wines and cheeses from several people. Everyone is invited.. so come thirsty!
