So far everyone I've talked to wants to go to Elk City. My forecast shows rain but it will change a few times before next weekend.

I just looked at the Thurs/fri for up there and you guys are still getting chances of snow?????????????????????What's the deal. Its 82 here and even the weekend forecast is great.....maybe we should just get our passes for the year on the internet......I was up for it (unless work caused a problem.) Guess it will so will go to the Kansas State Site and buy my pass....Jeanne

Then watch out Kansas     :R :R :R :R :R

Weather dot com says highs in the mid 60's and lows in the 40's for Elk City next Thurs - Sun. Thunderstorms maybe on Sunday. Where did you see snow forecast?

Just looked and the Tuttle Creek area has lows of 33 and highs in the mid 50's.

I'm not giving up yet.

Always amazes me how wrong the weather reports can be for this area Jeanne. I am sitting here with a whinny teenager who wants to camp out... We aren't going anywhere until it is over 50* at night....Or at least close.

So y'all aren't making it to Beavers Bend ? Darn, but I understand distance , and gas prices - eek! - for just a weekend. Have fun no matter where or what the weather .

Yeah, we can't make this one, either. I'm actually starting back up on the Widget camper............ again!!!!!! It's 99% done and I'm going to get the last 1% finished up.
