Hi Bruce, Pam & others

We're planning on coming to Crow Valley 7/22 -7/23 maybe arriving Thursday the 21 but we just learned that we may have house guests. So, put us down for a strong "maybe" as we are trying to work it out. Ah summer in Colorado it's the place to be.

I also thought I'd post to refresh the date on the thread and get more folks going. C'mon people!

Okay everybody, I PMd a copy of the reservation to everyone that's signed up. Let me know if you need more directions.

How about a pot luck on Saturday?

Hope to be leaving in an hour or so. I forgot to charge my battery so I'm taking my time so that I can top it off.

Got a call from Bruce, we talked and figured that it would be a good idea to cancel due to the heat. While we were talking, we both looked at our thermometers which were in the mid to upper 90's.

I've camped in the 100's, but had electricity and a lake to swim in. It was easy to go for a swim or siesta in the a/c during the hottest part of the day.

Okay, everybody, we're calling this one a no go....

We'll try again when its a little cooler. The reservation is still good so feel free to use it if you can stand the heat.

Hey All, I went to Pawnee Grasslands - arrived at noon yesterday (friday) - little Edward and I were all by our lonesome though......... :( .

Guess I should have checked the forum :? .

Anyway, rained last night - helped to cool things down a bit 8) .

I think I will return to that campground  , it was very nice, nicer than I expected and close to home!!

Just got home and getting ready to take Marcey to the Black Hills on Monday - staying at Sylvan Lake Campground! Jane

P.S. Looking forward to our next gathering!

I had planned to go up early in the day but did not feel well enough. I guess I did not miss anything.
