I'll check my calendar to see if anything else is going on. Still haven't decided on Minden.

The weekend of July 22-23 is best for me. I could take a vacation day and camp from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon.

Crow Valley in July

Postby RPH » Mon May 30, 2011 1:55 pm

Are you guys talking about Crow Valley Family Campground in the Pawnee Grasslands? That's Colorado, not Wyoming, correct? (east of Ault)
anyway, we are considering this "gathering" as the pennies might not stretch far enough for Minden. (and you gotta save pennies for Last Gasp)
Let us know the where and when.

Yes, it is in Colorado.

Hopefully, we will hear back from the other posters in this thread about whether July 22-23 will work.

Okay everyone,

I went ahead and reserved a group campsite for July 22 and 23. We can have up to 9 vehicles and 30 people. Its the Lark Group Site at Crow valley Campground.

Here's a link to information about the campsite and a map:

(let me know if the links are broken)

Shall we plan on a pot luck Saturday night? Who all is going? We'll bring our telescope.
