It was another awesome gathering. I just want to thank all of you that came and I hope you had as great of a time as I did. We'll be planning on doing it again in 2013. Sorry we missed seeing some of you but we understand.

Road Rocket - Don't worry about the camping fees. Since you were there for 1 night the total would be $4.

Someone asked for our 'Baked Beans' recipe that we made for dinner Saturday night... I can't remember who it was.. so here it is for all. :-)

1/4# bacon, cut in pieces
1# ground beef or venison (we used both)
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup katsup
1 tsp salt
3/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp vinegar
1 can each of lima beans, kidney beans and pork-n-beans

Brown bacon, beef and onion, then drain. Place in baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl and then mix with meat. Bake @ 350 deg for 1 hour.

Hey Thanks for posting the picture. I forgot to pack a few thing on my first TD outing.

The 'Baked Beans' were good and I added them to my “Good thing to make folder”.

I know this might be a stretch but I’d like to know the recipe for that Stew dish that was made in the cash iron pot on the first bench.

I’m trairble with name, but good at faces. I believe it is this guy, with the camera. Kevin? Keith?. Again I’m bad with names. Any Help here would be nice.

Yep ... on the picture .... the name of the guy with the dark hair and black Lab dog is Ronny and the dog is named Jake =) He camped in his tent on the opposite side of the road =) This is his third camping out with the group ,,,,, Beaver Bend 2012 ..... Cricket Creek 2012 ...... and now Crawford 2012.

Oh yes and me and my steel sided FOAMMEI ... to be redone wider at some time in the future. Yes it is still very "Spartan" inside but 12 years in the making and over 60,000 miles on it =) It has a new coat of shiny black paint job now and need a new axle ( bad tire wear) on this last trip before storing the trailer away for winter

Is the Crawford thang happening this year??

CJ I am trying to get the folks at Crawford to give me an open weekend with the group site. I think Darren is also booking or has booked a weekend.

Thanks Miriam! I got a PM saying it was the 20th - 22nd but I was wondering why it hasn't been posted on the forum. I can't make that weekend due to work anyway but I just thought I would see if the event was even in the plans this year.

Let us know if it is going to happen. I’ll be heading to the folks house around that time frame. love to do it again this year. I’ll have more than one lantern this year and I’ll remember to bring my camera

Ok, my understanding is that KAMO (Darrens group) will have their event and if you contact him you can see if there are spaces open.

I have booked Crawford as the Tearjerkers director and will post a separate thread...

We will be there next weekend, the 19th thru the 22nd.

KAMO isn't my group. It's just a group that I belong to.
