No , you were not dropped from the list on purpose. Every so often I copy and paste the list and keep moving it to the last page so new people can keep up with who's coming.
I must have messed up in transferring the list. I am sorry. I'll put you back on and try to be more careful. If anyone else notices they are missing or included and you are not coming, let me know. I do hope you can make it. We have a great group and it's in a beautiful area. Plus gas prices are relatively low and you never know what next year will bring.

See ya round the bonfire!

Put me down for a maybe. If I come I'll just toss the tent on my bike and ride over. It just depends on my work situation at the time, I'm trying for a new job.

Is there anything we need to be aware of as far as bear safety? Other large carnivores ? Is there a lake nearby that allows larger motorboats (16 foot with a 55hp motor?) for fishing maybe pulling kids on a tube? My son and his family are thinking of following me, they have 2 younger kids.
Still not 100% sure I can make it but still hopeful.

We are right next to New Forks Lake. I seem to remember boats on it but not a motor size. You might to a search on Google of that Lake. I can see if Mike, (Slowcowboy" of Will knows.

As for Bears, they will avoid us because of the size of the group. In 2012 I never saw a bear the whole 12 days we were in WY, including Yellowstone. Never hurts to have Bear spray or a 44 Magnum, if you are going to be hiking off into the woods. The bear spray is easier. We all hope you make the gathering, it's a ton of fun in a beautiful area of the country.

We'll be coming back to Idaho from The Farm (BC) that week- would a possible drop-in with tear be permitted?

Loren and Claudia, of course you can drop in. You can even stay if you want. There will be a nice mix of people and trailers to visit. We look forward to meeting you both!

I agree with Woodbutcher, bears should not be an issue. To much activity and noise going on.

I get regular emails from Wyoming's Tourism Bureau. This came today and I thought it might be interesting for those coming to Walk the Winds and also for those who may still want to join us.

We'd love to attend again this year Steve but we've promised to dog/house sit for our son the last 10 days of July. His grandchildren have a softball tournament in Florida & his entire family will attend. They've rented a beach house for a week & will do a combined vacation/softball visit.

We really enjoyed last year & meeting Mike & all the folks; 'cept the nights were too cool. We're used to heat & high humidity in August, & the extra cool summer in Wyoming was definitely a change... Maybe next year

I've been there twice - bout 30 years ago :) , 6 hour drive down thru Idaho. If we do come, will likely go back thru Grand Teton & Yellowstone Pk.
