Me and my son had a great time. I have a few pics I will post later. Met some really great people, put the canoe in New Fork lake, and ate well. It was a bit farther to get there than I had thought. 380mi one way and I didn't even leave the state!

Norma and I have arrived home safely and are beginning to prepare for our next trip to Fort Stevens , an Oregon state campground , for a fiberglass gathering. We do want to thank Mike ( Slowcowboy) and Steve ( Woodbutcher ) for all their work in hosting a really special gathering. It was a pleasure to reunite with old friends and we enjoyed meeting Steve's group from up north. This was possibly the most geographically diverse group Norma and I have had the pleasure of camping with. We had folks from Wyoming ( obviously ), Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Texas, Idaho ( Norma and I ) Colorado and Utah ( apologies to any from a state I missed ). Fourteen trailers and 8 states wow ! Praying for safe travels for Steve's group as they wind their way home and all others on the road. Lee and Norma

I just arrived home. Had a great time just relaxing at Walk the Winds. Always good to meet new teardroppers and eat my fill.
After checking out the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone I split from the group last Thurs morning with the intention of wandering my way home arriving this Thursday. Great camping in the Bighorns. Had a short visit from Mick and Braydon. Ok camping at Custer SD but bailed after one night. Too much motorcycle noise!! So, needing some solitude, I headed forty miles from nowhere in the Nebraska Sandhills. I had a very relaxing time but upon returning to civilization learned of the passing of a close friend so had to beat feet for home.
I have no idea where the rest of the group are. Maybe lost forever among the bikers in the Black Hills! It's crazy there!!!

We just arrived home last night (8-6-15) after leaving the Pinedale gathering. We saw Jane later in the Teton's :)...
Had a great time meeting new faces and making some new friends. Hoping all made it home safe and sound...
As Randy mentioned the Tetons/Yellowstone were crowded but Beartooth Pass was awesome and jeeping in the BigHorn Mountains was great.
Jeeped up to TenSleep Lake (long rocky drive up 2.5 hours just to get there) and also up to the fire tower. Did you know you can rent these? The view is great.

Also for those of you that travel thru Nebraska, along Hwy 20, there is loads of free camping in the town parks and fair grounds (fairground has warm showers too!)
We stayed at one of the fairgrounds and one of the board members drove by and chatted awhile. He is please to see it used. They had a donation box for campers.
It was well worth the donation for the hot shower

take care and safe journeys ahead.
Tina & Jerry

Well we made it home this afternoon. Our caravan of 6 teardrops left Waverly NE, from several different states on July 22nd. We were heading for Pinedale WY and Walk the Winds. It was a great time. We met some old friends and made some new. A special tanks to Will (Sagebrush) for helping Mike and I get everything ready. Also thanks to Mick and Braydon who made our campfires happen and for his advise on some Jeep trails. Meals were great and the weather was perfect. My hopes are that some of our new western friends and new Tear Jerkers can make it to the midwest some time for a gathering.
Our group went on to the Tetons, Yellowstone and up the Beartooth Hwy. as Tina mentioned. What a fabulous drive that is. We slowly dropped off some of our group as we went. Headed to the Big Horns and did some Jeeping and Site seeing. Beautiful area. One of my old customers that retired near Buffalo even joined us for dinner. I have not seen him for 13 years, but it was like we never lost touch. Here are a few pictures. After 4K miles it was nice to get home.

Hi Slowcowboy, good to hear from you. I am sorry I couldn't make it out again this year but I was taking care of my mom . My husband and says if there is another one next year he will make sure I can go one way or another.
