Site question - Canyon Campground, Yellowstone NP

Hi, all!

I managed to accidentally reserve a 20' site at Canyon Campground, which is about 9' short of TD+Truck. I've been in short sites before, and a couple times have had to resort to diagonal-stacking the little pickup and the TD.

Does anyone think I am likely to have a critical problem fitting a GMC Sonoma and a 5x12 TD into a 20' space? The spaces are not visible through the trees on Google Maps, or I'd just measure the dimensions directly and practice in our parking lot.

Problem solved - reservations agent for Xanterra magically found a 30' site.

About 8 miles south of the GC is the Ten-X National Forest campground. Beautiful setting, lots of room at each site. No electricity or site water, but we love it there.

The OP is talking about Yellowstone NP, about 850 miles north of Grand Canyon ;-)

Oops, ok then Ten-X might take a bit longer to drive between the park and the camp site.
:D
