Okay, okay, I'll leave the microwave at home. I'm actually surprised at the number of campgrounds along our route have electric hookups though.

No microwave means a place for water jugs. And maybe some Texas whiskey.

also maybe a firecracker or two.

I just watched the You Tube videos....and am looking forward to this even more. So glad to have the Angus bear and microwave issues resolved.

So far the stars are right for my daughter and I to attend from Texas. The rest of the convoy has fizzled due to external circumstances.

Is the campground the loop shown on the map at the 7837 elevation?

You are looking at one of the regular campgrounds.
From what
We are in the group camp just to the left bottom of your map (731 on screen shot).
The elevation is about the same. give or take a few feet.
The lake is in easy walking distance, maybe few hundred yards.
