OK Friends ,I just reserved the group area at New Fork Lake , near Pinedale WY. Same as WTW in previous years.
Check in July 30, 2pm check out August 2, 1pm.
Hope too see lots of friends ,old and new.
Thinking potluck dinner Saturday night, maybe breakfast free for all Sunday. Not too much planned. Lots of relaxing.

So hows life will????soriving the crona????need to update woth ya.some time hopefully the travel restrictions are lifted by july...i had about gave up on this year... better save me some stimulus dough to make the trip again see ya all in july..hopefully with less bugs and no need for a new battery ran fly swatter....slow..zippos changed in one year in my world.

We will just have to see by then so far crona restrictions haven't even let the kids go back to school yet and only barber shops hair care joints are opened back up no food places yet. and state campgrounds are Wyoming residents only so far.. Yellowstone and grand teton are still shut and Jackson hole is still under a,separate shelter at home rule...govenor says he's going to start slowly in phases re- opening..but the wind river reservations just growing rapidly with crona cases...have seen Zippo on national Forrest restrictions yet... yet no idea if they are going to reopen normaly when the snow melts out in june???????....so far its,14 day quarteene for out of staters...so yea pray hard that we get to go by end of july..most of us already are going crazy in Riverton nones really staying home though and nones wearing a mask as in Riverton but I guess they are in lander...so it's a wild card so far..?????........slow..

End of July is 3 months away. Let's not get carried with the gloom and doom.
I won't get into politics, let's just look forward to having a relaxing campout.

Mike, you have to be the worst salesman I ever met. If Wyoming is not open by the end of July, there will not be any country left to travel in. States with a lot larger population then WY are already starting to open Parks. Relax, take a deep breath and invite the people to join you in Pinedale for a great weekend. By July everyone will want to get out a see one of the most beautiful area's in the Country. Join us in Pinedale, we'll leave a light on for ya.

It's now on my calendar. I'm hoping for a banner year. A lot of the early events have been canceled. Just maybe there will be a whole lot of somebodies hankerin' for a git-together and they will come to Wyoming by default. It would be grand to pack that beautiful piece of God's handiwork with newcomers.

I'M TOTALLY stoked for this event. This just might be the event of the year!

My local news report says camping in Wyoming is sate residents only open So far and only state parks both grand teton and Yellowstone are still shuttered.....not sure what's going to happen this summer. so far I have never met a sick person only read about it on the news..i actually went back to church tbis moring in pville both churches are open and we both run about 13, us and the Methodist....not sure..still no goverment check or hope of a new job not even sure if I will have the desil to come by August and I got be home by the 3rd no exceptions ,thats my birthday...thinking if I come on going over union pass from Dubois we are highly avoiding lander right now or the res....teton county and Jackson hole are currently under a tight stay in your homes lock down. They don't know if they will re open up with the state.. cases jumped from 380 last time I posted to 415...in 3 or 4 days....so who knows its still 3 months off...i plan to come if its open and I get money in time to come. might go over union pass just for fun........its up in the air right now....looks bad but a lot can change in just 3 months. I would just make your plans like normal and wait 3 months and then check out our local state news check on county 10....jackson buckrail and rocksprings miner ..to get local state information on facebook to decide by July 30th...i am just myself planing on coming but doing risk management much like farming for plan b if I am forced to wait a year..put me down as a maybee..slow

My monthly April game and fish news letter ststes,all non resident fishing permits are suspended to ensure non business travel from out of state to Wyoming follow through with Governor Gordon's 14 day quarteene orders for non resudents...so currently there's lots of restrictions still in place so we will have to wait and see what July will bring...for me a trip to pinedale will depend on the numbers and crona cases actually decreasing state wide plus money for the trip....slow...

Hate to say it but it was on facebook right now and non-resident camping reversations are cancled in Wyoming for 2020 and will be refunded.game and fish have suspended non -residence fishing and hunting permits also refundeing...fremont county grew to 155 cases yesterday crona counts still riseing but bars and food joints are under conseederation for re -opeing. Jackson hole and teton county still under tight stay at home lock downs..

Appreciate the screenshot. BUT ..........recreation.gov still has New Fork Lake group area reserved in my name. RESERVATION HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED AND NO REFUND HAS BEEN ISSUED.
July 30 is still a few days away. Don't. jump off a cliff yet .
Hope too see all of you campers that want to attend at New Fork Lake.
