I have bad news and good news.

Bad: I cannot make the trip this year.

Good: I cannot make it because after months of looking, I’ve finally started a new job.

I’ll be looking forward to seeing y’all next year!

Hooray for Sparks!

I'm about to make like a road apple and hit the trail. Only a day later than planned. Sheesh. :?

Hope you all have great weather for your trip. Nothing is stopping me next year!

As mentioned by Steve we have had the perfect storm of happiness the past few weeks so are unable to attend as I had hoped. We became first time grandparents and finally got to see the little girl. Then in the middle of all that excitement my son asked if I would build a teardrop with him. Of course I can't pass up that opportunity to do something I know I'll enjoy... at his expense to boot! Raised the walls last night and finished off the bulkhead today. It's definitely a speedier build than when I built #1 all by my lonesome...

Well, the good news is certainly better than the bad news. You will be missed.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the good vibes.

I saved this from last year for a special occasion. I’ll hoist it this weekend in y’all’s honor.

First, congratulation on the new job. :applause:
Wind River is good stuff. I picked up a couple six-packs as I left Wyoming last year, and I plan on picking up some again this trip.

What a great event! So many interesting new friendships made. Perfect weather, Cool evenings, cooler mornings and perfect 82ish degree days. The clean blue Wyoming skies are beautiful and the Wind River Mountain Range takes my breath away every time I see it. Thank You, Will, for making such a great gathering possible. Your friendly hospitality is such a gift. Thank you for sharing a part of your State with us.

I'd be up for something in the Bighorn National forest area. A number of years ago I came across a dirt road that took me to the top of the world, not sure we could get teardrops up it but lots to see up through there and probably plenty of safer trailer spots to set base camp.
