Des Moines July 4th
Posted: Thu Apr 06, 2006 11:38 amHello northern bunch, I'm in Okie land and I'm planning a trip to the Goodguys Heartland Nats in Des Moines this year. Any of you guys/gals into "old cars" and plan on camping at the fairgrounds that weekend? 
If you've never been there it's a real nice BIG campground that joins the fairgrounds . There will be around 2500 cars attending the show and the campgrounds will have several hundred "hotrod" campers in every thing from tents to behemoths. I'll either have the Kampmaster or my old Scamp, depends on who all needs a place to sleep. It would be great to circle the tears (and friends) for a fun weekend.
