The Florida Keys

Anywhere in the country is fine. Where do you want to camp?

I was just at Sugarloaf for the weekend last month. The bug problem wasn't that bad. Even the bewitching hour for mosquitos around dusk wasn't bad either (hardly saw any). It helped having a cold front come through just before we got there. It was nice all weekend and the fishing was spectacular. The ocean was flat like a mill pond and warm. It was great. Doing again in December

Bahia Honda, Long Key State Parks are on the Alantic side they are great. Hard to get into, have to book ahead depending on time of year. Even the KOA's are awesome in Sugarloaf and Fiesta Key. I will be at the Fiesta Key KOA at the end of the month. Plus the other State and County parks (Monroe County) then there are all the private campgrounds peppered thru the Keys. You cant beat them if you like the ocean, boating, saltwater fishing, beaches, etc. , and the Keys
