Minnesota gathering

Anywhere in the country is fine. Where do you want to camp?

Jim and anyone else coming to Pine City,
There is no address,s so it does not show up on the mapquest or google. I will get you close and I will have up signs I will also give you my cell #. (cell phone that is). Scared you didn't I?
It is the Pine City exit off 35W (exit169) and 7-8 miles west.

Well I asked for some time off from work for the weekend of the 31st of May and 1st of June. Keep your fingers crossed that it gets approved. I might even have my tear done by then. If not then I will just have to use my good old tent.

Count Craig and me in on this one. It will be right before school gets out and will give me a boost going into that last week.

Thanks Toby and Sue. Pokegama Lake Road is exit 169, 7-8 miles would be west of the lake. Man I love the internet for finding locations.

Tim that would be great if you can make it. I always start my conversations when asking for time off with; 'You know I wasn't even looking for a job when I found this one, do you think I could have X off?"

The camping calendar is filling up :applause:

Jim, Unfortunately with me being the only one in the Facilities Department at night, it's a little hard to start a conversation with anyone but myself. I have been known to talk to myself a lot at night. Also, I always agree with myself! :)

Hi all,
Are you following the news on the flooding?
Sounds like the Whitewater Wipeout may be just that.
Doesn't sound good for it to open any time soon.

I guess we named it right than. We can always change the date if it floods, I'll check with the park as things get a little closer. May is a great time to see the park too. The forest floor is covered in wildflowers along the hiking trails.

I'll still join you in Pine city ,so keep us posted.

Soooo....when/where is the Minnesota gathering?
I would like to attend. I read something about April 11-12...that's 2 weeks away and I still have 3 feet of snow at my place. To keep warm I'll have to pack either a good heater or a large girlfriend!

You wouldn't need a large girlfriend as long as she was HOT! ;)

You are absolutely right!!!
That's the kind of mistake you only make a couple of times...usually involves beer, late on a Saturday night :o
