Official LCG 2015 thread!

I was surprised to learn that there is not an "official" LCG this year. What happened? We had made long trips to be at LCG2, LCG4, LCG7 and was contemplating travel to LCG10 but now are not sure. Sounds like there will be a fun gathering anyway. Who knows what October will bring?

Thanks for the pic Thomas. I see lots of friends and faces from previous LCGs so it it still on my "to do" list but I am not able to commit to a cross country trip at this time. Will just have to wait until the date is a bit closer. Thanks for helping to keep it going.

Jerome, I'm sure it will happen. It may not be as big as some LCGs you have been to before, but it will happen. Who knows, since it is number ten, I may show up for a night or two with my tent. If I don't make it, let me know when you pass though Dallas, and I'll buy you some good Tex-Mex and a cold beer.

I started a donation deal since the sites kept getting reserved last year and people kept having to move but I was informed that the sites will be reserved so I guess it is OK, I just am feelin my way through this!

It was the first or second year of this gathering that my friend asked if I wanted to go to Bisteneau to see the teardrops there. After years of gathering info, looking at plans, brainstorming, ultimately designing my own shape, and thinking about what I wanted, I started my build last July, finishing up enough to camp in it in April. Since then we have spend many nights camping in it. The friend that suggested we go see these campers called "teardrops" has also built his own along with me. Thanks for starting us on this road, can't wait to be a part of this gathering that started it all.
