You guys have fun, and post pictures. I wish I could attend, since camping w/guns reminds me of my good/bad old days, 40 years ago (except for the canteen of Tequila I always carried on my belt; a no-no!); my wife is out of town, and I'm stuck here with the critters (babysitting the "pack"). Off of work all week, so I should be able to work on changes to the trailer. Almost like camping? Not.

I'm sad to say that Anna and I will not be attending the party this year. We both are dealing with some monumental family issues right now and just won't be able to make it and enjoy ourselves. LCG is the only time that we get to see most of you so it does hurt us that we won't get to swap stories, eat and make fires.

I have site #48 and is reserved for the 24th-27th but I only have the 24th paid for so you are welcomed to it. We hope to see you all, sooner than later. Take care and have fun, you guys!!

Jeff,
Anna and
the rowdy hounds!!

Here's hoping those monumental problems are overcome quickly and with the least amount of pain. We'll raise a brew and throw a couple extra logs on the fire in your honor.

This IS sad Jeff! Life is full of surprises and unfortunately not all of them are happy. We hope things get better very soon. It goes without saying, we will all miss you BOTH terribly. :(

I don't want to go back through all the pages to see if this has been covered.

A warning to the LCG noobs, and a reminder for the LCG forgetful (Julie), when the sun goes down, your food needs to be locked inside your camper or your car. If you don't do that, the raccoons WILL eat it. A closed cooler in the bed of a pickup is not enough. Lights on in your galley after dark is not enough (Julie). Inside a tent/shelter is not good enough (madjack).

Bisteneau coons are very tenacious, and very clever. Lock it up, or lose it.

As you were.

Jeff, I think you can take this away that you will be missed as equally as you will yourself miss the gathering. We'll see you at Beaver's Bend!!!
