We arrived Friday afternoon about 5pm.
Brian & Stacey's '48 TD.
I brought my unfinished TD to show folks what a build-in-progress looked like.
Here's a closer look at my build.
This was it. We had 5 trailers total.
There were about 7 people who came by that were in the building progress and a few more local trailer owners that didn't hear of the event.
This is Mr. Dewey's teardrop(
Dream Chaser).
It started to drizzle a few time Saturday and I had to roll my TD under the building's awning to keep the exposed wood from getting wet.
Red & Nodie's Little Guy Silver Shadow.
Saturday evening it started to rain. We set up another shelter to keep dry, but then retreated to the building's side awning.
All in all, it was a nice weekend and we had lots of visitor wanting to know more and where they could get plans to build. We had fliers printed with information and also led them to this site and tearjerkers.
A spoksman with
Cabela's is going to pass the word to their other stores about having more events like this.
They asked if we'd schedule another event with them sometime before the year is up.
