I'll have to wait and see .... remember, whatever you do at midnight is what you'll do the rest of the year!

I'm sure Scott and family can find a place for you to sleep. Perhaps the Lady Bug -- first class accommodations, for sure.

Talk to your social secretary, and see if you can squeeze our little gathering in. 8)

We had a small group last year, but had a good time. The best thing is nobody has to be on the road after dark, and dodge the drunks or worry about being stopped by the cops.

I haven't driven at night on NYE for many years. I stock up, park the car, and party like -- well, like it's New Year's Eve. :P

Then, I WALK to bed.

Me too. My tradition is to stay home and do that whatever dance. Leave the road to the rookies. This will be a cool alternative.

We were all set to go to Ray Roberts next weekend, and discovered that the party went on without us (this weekend!) SO, our calendar is already marked and we plan to join y'all for New Years eve. Add us to the list!

We're looking into doing the new years party, but I have to wait a week or two to make sure I'm going to have the money to fill the gas tank.

Time is drawing closer, so I guess it time to start to start thinkin' 'bout food. You folks can arrive anytime during the afternoon on December 31. First come - gets the best spots (actually they are all good spots). Fire in the fire pit starts at nightfall - and party until we drop

You can count on me and Cindy for a turkey and she's going to put together some dips for snacking. :chips:
